This chia pudding is easy to make and full of protein, which will keep you fuller for longer and chia seeds also promote weight loss -bonus! Chia seeds are an amazing superfood with some incredible benefits (also touted as being one of the most nutritional foods on the planet), so start adding them into your diet whenever you can. It is important to soak them though, as they love to suck up liquids, so if you eat them unsoaked they can cause constipation.

For one serving.

  • 3 tablespoons of chia seeds (black, white or mixed is fine)

  • 3/4 cup of milk of your choice

  • 1 teaspoon of cocoa or cacao powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • Optional - fruit, nuts or seeds to topping

  1. Put the chia seeds in a glass

  2. Add the milk

  3. Add in the cocoa or cacao powder

  4. Add in vanilla extract

  5. Stir to mix

  6. Leave to sit for about 2 minutes, and then stir again to combine (this reduces clumping)
